Desi Cow Ghee: The Golden Elixir of Ancient Wellness

"SVM Organic Farms' desi cow ghee, prepared through the traditional bilona (hand-churning) method, is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K and omega-3 fatty acids.

Desi cow ghee made through the traditional bilona process is fundamentally different from commercial ghee. The bilona method involves culturing the milk into curd, hand-churning it into butter, and then slowly clarifying that butter into ghee. This process retains butyric acid, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), and a full spectrum of fat-soluble vitamins.

Commercial ghee is typically produced by direct cream method — boiling cream and skimming fat. It is faster and cheaper, but nutritionally inferior.

Why bilona ghee is exceptional:

Butyric acid — Feeds intestinal cells, repairs gut lining, reduces inflammation
CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) — Anti-cancer, fat-burning, muscle-preserving
Vitamins A, D, E, K — Critical fat-soluble vitamins absorbed together synergistically
Omega-3 fatty acids — From grass-fed cow milk, anti-inflammatory
High smoke point (250°C) — Doesn't oxidize or form harmful compounds when cooking

Ayurveda considers desi cow ghee the most sattvic (pure, clarity-promoting) food in existence. Modern nutritional science is confirming these ancient claims one study at a time.

Use 1-2 teaspoons daily: in hot rice, on roti, in morning warm water, or as a cooking medium for anything requiring high heat.
